🌟 What an incredible day at the Medical Device Manufacturing Centre (MDMC) Conference 2025 at Heriot-Watt University! 🌟

Yesterday, I had the privilege of sitting on a panel at this fantastic event, surrounded by inspiring innovators, experienced entrepreneurs, and conversations that are actively shaping the future of med-tech.

It was particularly energising to hear from fellow panellists Louise Kennedy, Helena Feasey, and Michael Crichton, who shared their journeys, insights, and lessons learned from building in this complex but deeply rewarding space.

The Power of Expert Support

Over the past few years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with the MDMC on three different projects.  Their support has been invaluable - whether it’s navigating regulatory pathways, mapping export strategies, advancing med-tech innovation and manufacturing, or diving into statistical analysis.  The depth and breadth of expertise they offer is impressive.

If you’re at the start of your med-tech innovation journey, I can’t recommend connecting with the MDMC highly enough. Their guidance can save you not only time and money, but also plenty of trial and error.

A Personal Highlight

One of the most meaningful parts of this trip was finally meeting so many people face to face, especially Edwin Lindsay, who I’ve been collaborating with remotely for seven years.  Yesterday was the very first time we met in person - a true reflection on the long-term relationships this industry builds.

Looking Ahead

I walked away from the conference feeling re-energised about the future of med-tech, and more committed than ever to making Bubble FLO® accessible to the families who need it most.
